THE ARCHETYPICAL FIGURES

Archetypical figures are universal, shared, hereditary stages of our life paths. Archetypical figures exist within every religious, mythical, folklore, fictional story and help us understand the flow. I see them as guides, helping us strengthen and fly.

The Warrior

One of the Twelve Olympians, Ares is the God of War, Brutality, and Military Strategy. Ares represents the warrior, violent, and primitive side of us, which we find difficult to accept. It's no surprise that he was one of the most despised Gods in Ancient Greece.

As much as Ares is thirsty for blood, he represents the committed, instinctive, loyal, strong, and courageous part of us too. The armored emotional being resides deep within the masculine, violent, and irrational Ares.

Deep within the anger, lies passionate love.

Altin Tatli (Golden Sweet) is an artist living and creating in Istanbul,Turkey. Altın’s multi-disciplinary practice explores the possibilities of an intergalactical and interdimensional language of art. As a maximalist artist, they use many forms of art to include us in their universe.
