ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Born from the East like a Sun

We met just around the time when I started to believe I was no longer capable of loving someone passionately again. My relationship with him sprouted unexpectedly, and I felt the abundance of love in my heart once again. That is why, to me, he was like the Sun at that time. Despite the fact that love had risen again, it was on its way to set. What made our sun set was the lack of self-love. One cannot be happy unless they truly love themselves and believe in themselves. Without hope and belief in oneself and the future, there is no place for love to blossom. Love cannot blossom where there is no hope and belief in oneself and the future.
